Had to take my daughter there over the weekend. They have EXCELLENT staff...caring and friendly nurses and doctors that actually LISTEN! Whenever I need to take my kids in (and I have 3 of em!) I always come here. Our last wait time was maybe 5 minutes before we had our own room.

LOVE this place!!!!!!! Below is a pic of the lobby...it's calming and the fish tanks full of exotic salt water fish are a *GREAT* distraction for the sick kids that come in.

Tales of the 5th Grade Science Project (Part 1)

Ok, so this is the first year we've had to do a science project with any of the kids. After some debating on what he should do, Nate finally settled upon proving or disproving the Coca-Cola Myths. We'll begin our experimentation this weekend. (And I say "we" because this is just as much work for us parents as it is for the students!)

So far, Nate's going to see if Coke will dissolve a nail in 2 days, a T-Bone steak in 4 days, clean the rust off of a penny and also clean the rust off of his Heeley wheels (which are REALLY caked with rust!) Then he has to write a report, create a presentation and take pics of his project.

I have to constantly remind myself not to take over! ~LOL~

I'll update on the results after the weekend....

8 Films To Die For III

My husband and I are fanatics for these movies. The first 8 were pretty good, with lots of scares! The second set weren't so great. The third (and hopefully NOT final) set are better, with more than half of them pretty decent. The recent titles are as follows (with my added ratings!)...

The Broken - ** out of ***** (Good premise, weak follow thru, honestly kinda borrring)

Slaughter - *** out of ***** (Another good idea, I liked watching but didn't like the conclusion)

Perkins 14 - ** out of ***** (Yet again, good premise, weak ending, entertaining to watch!)

Butterfly Effect 3 - Haven't seen yet

From Within - **** out of ***** (My favorite out of all of them so far! Creepy and suspenseful!)

Dying Breed - Haven't seen yet

Autopsy - Haven't seen yet but definitely looking forward to
Voices - **** out of ***** (Pretty creepy!! Twisted movie and definitely enjoyed it!)

Hopefully this weekend the hubby and I will rent a couple more and get to see them. Sometimes they're hard to find at RedBox and Blockbuster...easier to find em during the week.
